A lot of people in our area woke up Christmas morning with no power. You can imagine how stressful this could be.

While we are imagining, what if you were on the other side of this equation? You receive a call from your job in the wee hours and they tell you to come in immediately to address an emergency. There goes most of your holiday with your own family….

I know I don’t need to say this, but please remember to be extra considerate to service workers and emergency personnel during the holidays. They are working hard to ensure you have a pleasant experience. It’s a huge personal sacrifice with little to no reward.

You know what? Scratch that…

Be nice to service workers and emergency personnel EVERY day! Don’t be an asshole and become a funny story for someone’s friends and family.
