Day 185: Growing Pains

In my pursuit of self growth, depression is my biggest road block. It’s nearly impossible to figure out who you are and what you are passionate about while your brain is telling you negative things.

I feel like I’m stuck. Wanting more in my life, but unable to progress, unsure of what to do next. I know its a common feeling, so how does everyone else do it. How do you keep moving when you’ve no sense of direction?

  1. Take your time and get to know yourself. What you like and what you dislike. Find something that makes you have and try to incorporate that into your daily like. Take time out for yourself, even if it’s a few moments or an hr of silence. Write down some goals you want to accomplish, like maybe 2 or 3 and attack them. Once you have achieved them, write some more and do the same. Sometimes we often feels as though we should be at a certain stage in life based off others and our own perception. Life is a journey and forever changing and where you are in life will not be the same as someone else so no need to compare. Embrace it and work with it.
